My wife and kids were eating me out of house and home. When I got home from work the question wasn't "What are we having for dinner?" but "Where are we going for dinner"? Food costs for my family was going thru the roof. After a little research I discovered eating at home costs a small fraction of eating out all the time. To make a long story short we are now eating at home more often. Of course this reduced the food costs but greatly increased the time requirement. Shopping for groceries used to be a nightmare. Selecting products including the weekly specials right on my computer is extremely convenient and a great time saver. It's really nice to finally be prepared for the grocery store. I've tried everything from keeping a running shopping list on the fridge(then misplacing it), to trying to plan around the weekly specials. Keeping the fridge and pantry stocked became a full time job. Having my staple items (milk, bread, etc) I've selected in the past immediately available for quick reordering saves me time. For the last 4 years I've been forced to shop for the family, my wife won't do it anymore(grocery shopping). I was a boy scout but I was never prepared for grocery shopping. If you ever have any stubborn people like me, have them call me. This is by far the best way to shop for groceries. It was difficult to find my items at first until I found that search box.
